Please note all groundwork is to be completed before delivery.

If any groundworks are unfinished or not adequate for building purposes, Woodcraft WILL NOT rectify work or take responsibility if any problems occur because of faulty groundwork.

Woodcraft can supply 2 variations of bases.

Option 1: Bearer base

This is a 3×2 or a 4×2 frame depending on the size of the building. The bearer base is used to level up uneven paving/ concrete – this will make a step up into your building.

Option 2: Foundation bearer base

This is a 3×2 or 4×2 frame depending on the size of the building. The foundation bearer base is used when you’re building on grass or mud. Timber posts are concreted into the ground to level up the frame.

Delivery Information

Can we please make customers aware that not only do we have to have adequate width but also we need to have no height restrictions i.e. no arches, lintels, wooden framework, or electrical cables above doorways.

Also can customers please be aware that we cannot lift heavy panels over fences or walls, if there is a problem with access please call the office 01429 866559 before ordering and discuss any issues.

Please also note that if we cannot gain access for any reason and the office has not been informed of any issues prior to delivery, there will be a charge to re-modify the building also an extra delivery charge will be needed to be paid for.
